Your Needs > Your Software

Getting Your Message Across... Together

When you choose us as your translation agency, a partnership is formed. We are dedicated to rendering world-class service and earning your complete satisfaction. This means understanding your needs and delivering on our promises. And it requires an investment of time on both sides to make sure communication is clear. So please read on, click the hyperlinks below, and tell us more about yourself and what you want to achieve.

It's Not Only in Our Corporate Logo, It's All in a Day's Work for Us!

When we return you a file, you can rest assured that its original integrity and form are still the same. There's no need to chop and change or cut and paste. We use the same software you use and always respect your file format. Fond of Word or WordPro? Have a preference for FrameMaker? Your printer insists on Mac? No problem.

We are equally at home in working with all the major word processors, including Microsoft Word, WordPro from Lotus, and WordPerfect.

But in spite of the best efforts of Microsoft, Lotus, and WordPerfect to prepare their word processors for the Web, websites still require special treatment.

And, as you might have guessed by now, you can rely on us to take care of your HTML or XML projects as well. Click here to see some of the sites we have translated using professional solutions such as Dreamweaver, FrontPage, HomeSite, XMetaL, Flash, and Shockwave.

When you have files that need to go to press, it is wise to look before you leap. Most printers turn their noses up at word processor files, and will only accept documents created in FrameMaker, PageMaker, or QuarkXpress, or even the less common Publisher and InDesign.  So if you're considering printing multilingual brochures and manuals in full color, you'd better discuss these matters well in advance. Word processors usually do not allow for separate printing of colors, which is exactly what traditional color printing processes need. Click here to find out more on translating printed media and to see a few samples of publications we've managed.

Needless to say, we also use top-notch translation tools such as Déjà Vu, and we can process formats like IBM TM/2, Trados, and Transit.

For software localization, we can use specific tools such as Espresso, Help Workshop, Loc@le, Resource Editors, Passolo, RoboHelp, Visual Basic, and C++

Most software runs under Windows, but we also have Macintosh and UNIX experience (Linux and IBM AIX).
